Initially found this via [this Hacker News post](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41224225), and read it after finishing [The Selfish Gene, Dawkins](https://ollybritton.com/notes/books/the-selfish-gene/) which introduced the idea of a meme in the first place.
